  One thing I would really like to say is that often before getting more pc memory, look at the machine in to which it can be installed. If your machine will be running Windows XP, for instance, the actual memory limit is 3.25GB. Applying more than this would merely constitute some sort of waste. Be sure that one's motherboard can handle the actual upgrade amount, as well. Interesting blog post.
