Ruling Elder Reginald L. Daymon has a passion for studying, preaching and teaching the word of God. He began his Christian life in 1980, where he served as bass guitar player and junior deacon at the Greater Adams Street C.O.G.B.F. under the leadership of the Emeritus Ruling Elder Dr. David C. Rourk.
In early 1985, Elder Daymon accepted the call to the ministry and God led him to Buffalo, New York where he founded New Hope C.O.G.B.F. Elder Daymon continued to work faithfully in the ministry while pursuing his license to become an ordained minister, and was ordained an "Elder" in the Church of God by Faith in 1990 during the National Assembly at Atlanta Georgia.
In 1994, Elder Daymon and his congregation began construction on their new facility located at 175 Woodlawn Avenue, and in October of 1998, the church was completed and dedicated. The beautiful sanctuary seats approximately 500 people.
In June of 2000, Elder Daymon retired from Eastman Kodak Co. to work full-time in ministry. He continued his Christian education and received his "Master's of Divinity" from Faith Bible College of Baltimore, Maryland.
In December of 2012, Elder Daymon was appointed District Superintendent of the North Western New York district where he oversees the churches of God by Faith in this jurisdiction. Currently Elder Daymon serves as a member of the National Examining Board of Elders and a Pastoral teacher for CTI Church of God by Faith Theological Institute.
As God continued to grace his life, Elder Daymon was appointed Ruling Elder at the 2019 National Assembly in Atlanta, Georgia. Relentless in his vision and clear in his principle to teach the gospel, he stands strong in his commitment to share the joy of God's love through the dynamic of contemporary worship, community outreach, caring relationships and teaching discipleship. He takes very seriously his commissioned mandate to "Go you therefore, and teach all nations", (Mathew 28:18-20), and his responsibility to this directive has led him to preach the gospel to many local communities while supporting God’s mission nationally.
Elder Daymon has been married to his childhood sweetheart Veronica Valeria Daymon for over 43 years. They are the proud parents of three children and four grand children.
